NABARD general manager inspects Karimnagar Mega dairy

KARIMNAGAR: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Telangana state general manager Dr Haragopal was all praise for the Karimnagar Milk Producer Company Limited also known as Karimnagar Dairy for constructing the state of the art modern and fully automated Mega Dairy in Nallagonda village in Thimmapur mandal in Karimnagar district.

 Dr Haragopal visited the Mega dairy project on Monday along with TS Planning board vice chairman B Vinod Kumar and others. On this occasion, Karimnagar Dairy chairman Ch Rajeshwar Rao, Dairy advisor V Hanumantha Rao, Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank CEO N Satyanarayana Rao accorded a grand welcome to Haragopal and explained about the various specialities of Mega dairy project. Incidentally, Karimnagar DCCB had extended financial assistance to the tune of Rs 60 crore for the Karimnagar Dairy for the construction of Mega Dairy.

On this occasion, the NABARD general manager called upon the dairy authorities to take all measures to launch a milk revolution in the region by encouraging the farmers to take up dairy units and by increasing the number of milk producers and help they provide regular and alternate source along with agriculture. He also patted the Karimnagar DCCB CEO for extending the financial assistance to the Karimnagar Dairy to start the first of its kind fully automated Mega dairy in the Telangana state.
