NABARD chairman visits Karimnagar cluster office

KARIMNAGAR: NABARD chairman Dr Govinda Rajulu Chinthala has informed the NABARD officials of Karimnagar cluster to strive to improve the livelihood of the farming community in the rural areas and improve rural economy.
The NABARD chairman visited the Karimnagar cluster office in Karimnagar town on Tuesday. He said that they had constituted the Karimnagar NABARD cluster for the benefit of the rural masses of the Karimnagar, Jagtial, Rajanna-Sircilla and Peddapalli districts and added that they had appointed an AGM and DDM to cater to the needs of the people.
Mr Chinthala said that the clusters were constituted to become accessible to the people and extend all financial assistance for their economic empowerment. Expressing satisfaction over the performance of the cluster in Karimnagar, he said that they would take up more activities in the cluster for the benefit of the people.
He also informed the authorities to accord priority to the Farmer producer organisations (FPO) through capacity building and design development among other things. AGM P Anantha, DDM P Manohar Reddy briefed the chairman about their activities. NABARD Telangana region office CGM YK Rao, Andhra Pradesh CGM SK Jannawar, Telangana DGM PP Chahandi, DGM Savitha and others were also present.
