Minister Gangula’s whirlwind tour as part of Azadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav

 

KARIMNAGAR:  Minister for Civil Supplies and BC Welfare Gangula Kamalakar was on a whirlwind tour of various programmes as part of the Azadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav in Karimnagar town on Wednesday (August 10).

The Minister inaugurated the Freedom park constructed at the cost of Rs 26.40 lakhs at the Housing board colony in Karimnagar and also planted saplings on the occasion. Later, he visited the Kothapalli town on the outskirts of Karimnagar town and planted saplings in Freedom park at Zilla Parishad high school. Later, he visited Prathima multiplex to watch the feature film ‘Gandhi’ being screened for the school children in Karimnagar town.

TS Planning Board Vice chairman B Vinod Kumar, Mayor Y Sunil Rao, Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana, Additional Collector Garima Agarwal, Municipal Commissioner Seva Islavath and others watched the screening of ‘Gandhi’ film.
