Minister distributes Dalit bandhu assets to beneficiaries

KARIMNAGAR: Minister for Civil Supplies and BC Welfare Gangula Kamalakar has formally handed over assets worth Rs 2.6 crore to the beneficiaries of the Telangana Dalit Bandhu scheme in Karimnagar town on Friday.

A total of 24 beneficiaries of the scheme were given 10 units including six harvesters, 3 JCBs and one DCM van. On this occasion, the Minister said that Dalit bandhu was the ambitious scheme launched Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for the economic upliftment of the Dalits.

ZP chairperson K Vijaya, MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy, MLAs Rasamayi Balakishan and Sunke Ravishankar, Collector RV Karnan, Additional Collectors GV Shyam Prasad Lal and Garima Agarwal, ED SC corporation Suresh and others were also present.
