Magic Bus India Foundation empowers womenfolk of domestic violence

KARIMNAGAR: As part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Sakhi, a one-stop centre in association with the Magic bus India foundation organised an orientation programme for the victims of domestic violence and living separately to help them pursue their education and employment opportunities.

At a programme organised at Sakhi centre in  Karimnagar town on Wednesday (August 17), the Magic Bus India foundation representatives empowered the victims of 20 Domestic violence to cope up with the situation by pursuing their higher education or joining employment. They educated the womenfolk about the need to become self-reliant by taking up employment as there were ample opportunities in the country.

District Welfare Officer V Padmavathi, who participated as chief guest, stressed the need for psychological and economic independence to excel in life without any stress. Sakhi centre Administrator D Lakshmi, Magic Bus India foundation representatives Ashok and Shiva and others were also present.
