Life skill academy to enhance skills of youth inaugurated at NTPC

PEDDAPALLI: NTPC Regional Executive Director (WR-II and SR) Sanjay Madan along with NTPC Ramagundam Chief General manager Sunil Kumar had formally inaugurated the Life skill academy Block-II at Ramagundam township on Monday.

Inaugurating the new facility, Sanjay Madan lauded the CSR-CD efforts of NTPC-Ramagundam/Telangana and hoped the Lifeskill Academy will work as a catalyst in enhancing the skills of local youth through vocational training and job oriented courses.
Constructed under the Telangana Community Development (CD) budget near the Sai Seva Samithi, the Lifeskill academy aims at providing job-oriented courses and vocational training for the local youth. With the facilities of digital library and training rooms, the academy will help improve the employability/self-employment of the local youth. The local students of Ramagundam region in the age group of 12 to 25 years will be provided free skill-based training and coaching for competitive exams.
P K Laad, GM (TS), Prasenjit Pal, GM (Project), E R Murthy, CMO (Hospital), D V Rao, GM (Commissioning & Testing), Head of HR Vijaya Lakshmi M, office bearers of unions and Associations, CSR Officials and others were present on the occasion.
