LIC is dedicated to serve its policyholders and nation’s economic growth, says LIC Marketing Manager
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 1. 2023: LIC Karimnagar Division Marketing Manager MRK Srinivas has said the Life Insurance Corporation remains dedicated to serving the diverse financial needs of its policyholders and contributing to the nation’s economic growth.
The LIC marketing manager formally launched the 67th Insurance week celebrations by hoisting the flag and lighting the lamp at the divisional office in Karimnagar town on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Srinivas reiterated that the LIC would rededicate to the welfare of its customers in true spirit of their motto “Yogakshemam Vahamyaham” (Your welfare is our responsibility).
In spite of entry of private companies in the insurance sector, the constant pursuit of excellence, combined with a customer-first approach, has enabled LIC to become the prominent player in the insurance landscape, he maintained. “We owe our success to the trust and confidence reposed in us by our loyal policyholders and other stakeholders”, he pointed out.
Beginning with an initial capital of Rs 5 crore in the year 1956, the LIC has assets under management of Rs 45,50,571 crores, he stated and added that a total of 27.74 crore policies being serviced by LIC as on March 31, 2023. Through its eight zonal offices, 113 divisional offices, 74 customer zones, 2048 branch offices, 1580 satellite offices and 13.47 lakh agents, the customers are assured of best services, he added.
The LIC had extended its operations in 14 countries in the world and emerged as market leader, he maintained. Stating that the LIC had started Golden Jubilee foundation in the year 2006, he said that the LIC was providing scholarships and assistance several NGOs as part of corporate social responsibility.
As part of Insurance week celebrations, they would be organizing Employees day on September 4, health camp on September 5 and closing ceremony on September 6. Claims manager Bitchaiah administered pledge to the employees. Policyholder service manager Subhas Kumar, Sales Manager, Rajesh Khanna, various employees organization leaders Chalam, Vasudeva Reddy, A Rammohan Rao, Madishetty Gopal, Hari, Sathaiah, Gattu Rajaiah, P Basaveshwar policyholder Khaleel Ahmed and others were also present.
