Leopards spotted in Siddipet forests

SIDDIPET: The district forest officials have noticed the movement of leopards in the forests of Kondapaka and alerted the people not to venture into the reserve forests of the Kondapaka region near Mallannasagar project.

 

District forest officer Sridhar said the forest officials have noticed the movement of two leopards near Ankkireddypalli irrigation tank and they had spotted the wild animals living near the rocks in the forests. The forest officials have taken the pictures from their mobile phones. They said that the leopards were moving with their cubs in the forests and alerted the people in the adjoining villages not to venture into the forests.
