Land oustees of MMD project approach Lok Ayuktha demanding compensation

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: The integrated Karimnagar district land oustees welfare association has approached the Lok Ayuktha requesting for the payment of the compensation to the land oustees of Mid Manair dam reservoir as per the Land acquisition Act of 2013.
In a petition submitted to the Lok Ayuktha and a copy of which was released to the media here on Friday, district land oustees welfare association president Regulapati Venkat Rao stated that they had requested the district authorities concerned for the payment of compensation to the land oustees of MMD project of the Chinthalthana village as per the LA 2013 Act, but in vain.
He said that they were forced to approach the Lok Ayuktha as the concerned revenue authorities had failed to provide compensation to the oustees of Chinthalthana village as per the land acquisition Act of 2013. He urged the Lok Ayuktha authorities to ensure that the land oustees of Chinthalthana village secure compensation as per the LA Act of 2013 as they had sacrificed everything for the cause of the project.
