RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, AUGUST 19, 2023: Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K Taraka Rama Rao took break from his hectic and had a navigational boat ride on the swirling waters of Mid Manair Dam (MMD) reservoir in Rajanna-Sircilla district on Friday.
In order promote tourism in the district, Mr KTR along with Minister for Tourism V Srinivas Goud had formally launched the boating facilities in the MMD reservoir waters on Friday. On this occasion, the Minister ride the boat and enjoyed the feel of travelling at Papikondalu with hillocks on either side of the reservoir.
Enchanting beauty and tranquility of the serene atmosphere forced the Minister to enjoy the boat ride as if he was travelling at Papikondalu, which takes the travelers a canopy of greens on the hillocks of the river Godavari. Manakondur legislator Rasamayi Balakishan, TSCAB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao, ZP chairperson N Aruna, Collector Anuraag Jayanthi, SP Akhil Mahajan and others also travelled in the boat which was driven by the Minister KTR and enjoyed the nature’s beauty.
