Kothagudem Task force police nab 19 persons playing cards, three others escaped

BADRADRI-KOTHAGUDEM: In a major breakthrough, the Kothagudem CCS Task Force personnel have nabbed 19 persons playing gambling (cards) and seized 15 mobile phones, seven motorcycles and Rs 1.10 lakh cash in Mangaligutta of Mulkalapalli police station limits on Friday.

Following the instructions of SP Sunil Dutt, the Task force police team led by V Pullaiah have raided the premises and caught a record number of 19 persons playing and three others escaped. However, they would be nabbed soon, the police said. The arrested persons include Bandla Venkateswarulu (KTPS Paloncha), Bathula Venkatesh (Paloncha), Bhukya Saikumar ( Paloncha), Badavath Kiran (Paloncha), Gigondla Shiva Prasad (Paloncha), Mavuri Jagan (Kothagudem), Sk Usman (Paloncha), Banoth Veera Prasad (Paloncha), Madhyarapu Satya Narayana (Karepalli).

Sk Moulana (Paloncha), Mamidi Mose (Mulkalapalli), Vanama Sharath (Mulkalapalli), Kandukuri Prasanth  (Mulkalapalli), Gedala Shiva (Paloncha), Thota Uma (Paloncha), Bandla Rakesh (Paloncha), Batu Fazil (Paloncha), Bomanaboina Veerya (Paloncha rural) and Nimmala Rajeswara Rao (Rudrampur , Kothagudem). All the arrested were handed over to the Mulkalapally police station for further investigation.

Three other accused persons Mekala Rajesh (Mulkalapalli), Nagesh  (Yellandu) and Ramesh @ Nimmakaya (Yellandu) were absconding. The police have launched a manhunt to nab the persons who escaped from the spot.
