KPCL MD hails Singareni for adequate coal supply

HYDERABAD: Karnataka Power Corporation limited (KPCL) managing director and Secretary to Chief Minister V Ponnuraj was all praise for the Singareni Collieries Company Limited 9SCCL) for supplying adequate quantity of coal to meet the requirement of the power generation at its three thermal power stations.

Mr Raju was in Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad on Monday and met Singareni director (finance and personnel) N Balaram. On this occasion, he thanked the management of Singareni for supplying about 10 lakh metric tonnes of coal to meet the power generation requirements of three power stations in Raichur, Yermaras and Bellary without any interruptions. He also sought steady increase of daily supply of coal to the Karnataka state.
The Singareni director expressed his happiness for meeting the coal demand of the Karnataka thermal power stations and assured to increase the daily coal supplies. Administrative manager N Bhaskar, Chief liaison officer and PRO B Mahesh was also present.
