Karnataka art forms steal the show at Brahmotsavams
Pearls canopy procession held
TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 21, 2023: As part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam in Tirumala, the third day evening witnessed a series of unique dance formats enthralling devotees in a big way on Wednesday.
The art forms included Kuchipudi Dance, by the students of TTD Dance and Music College followed by Kunita Sankirtana by Patakunita, Mysore, Yakshaganam, Pata Kunita, Kansale Kunita, Chilipili Gombe and portraying different deities.
On the other hand, the presiding deities were taken on Muthyala pandiri (pearls canopy) vahana procession with religious fervour and gaiety. Sri Malayappa dressed as Kaliyamardana blessed His devotees along with Sridevi and Bhudevi on the finely decked Pearl Canopy vehicle.
Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala, Chairman Karunakara Reddy, EO AV Dharma Reddy and others were present.
