Karimnagar to host marathon from cable-stayed bridge on October 8
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 20, 2023: The Karimnagar Runners & Rider’s association is conducting the city’s first-ever marathon on October 8, 2023. Starting from the Cable-stayed Bridge, the marathon will traverse through the length and breadth of the Karimnagar city, covering its most iconic monuments such as Kaman, Indira Chowk, and as well as the latest infrastructure including Traffic islands.
The event will see participants running in the 3, 5, 10 and 21 kms categories of which the last two are timed runs. The participants will be given a T-shirt, medal, and a digital certificate on completion of the run. Excellent hydration support will keep the runners energized throughout the distance and a sumptuous breakfast will be offered to them on completion.
Director of Marathon and Chairman of IVY International Schools Karimnagar and Hanamkonda Mahesh Pasula said that the Karimnagar town is growing in leaps and bounds in the Telangana state. “We are proud to be part of the marathon and help in keeping the city healthy”.
