Karimnagar DCCB increases interest rates on deposits

KARIMNAGAR:  The Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) has revised the interest rates on term deposits for the general public and senior citizens with effect from Wednesday (August 17).

For the general public, the rate of interest from 91 days to 179 days deposits has been increased from 5 per cent to 5.25 per cent and for senior citizens from 5.25 per cent to 5.75 per cent. For deposits from 180 days to below one year, for the general public increased from 5.50 per cent to 5.75 per cent and for senior citizens from 5.75 per cent to 6.25 per cent.

For deposits ranging from one year to two years, the interest rate increased from 6 per cent to 6.50 per cent for the general public and for senior citizens from 6.50 per cent to 7 per cent. For above 2 years to three years, 6.50 per cent for the general public and 7 per cent for senior citizens and for above three years to 5 years, 6.25 per cent for the general public and 7 per cent for senior citizens and for above 5 years, 6.25 per cent to 6.50 per cent for the general public and 7 per cent for senior citizens.

In a statement here on Wednesday, Bank CEO N Satyanarayana Rao informed the people to utilise the opportunity by saving in the DCCB branches for more interest than any commercial bank.
