Karimnagar Dairy made strides only in separate Telangana state, says Chairman Rajeshwar Rao
KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 2, 2023: The Karimnagar Milk Producer Company Limited also known as Karimnagar Dairy has made several strides in the separate Telangana state and emerged as the number one dairy in the Telangana state, said its chairman Ch Rajeshwar Rao.
Participating in the Telangana formation day celebration which entered its 10th year and launched the decennial celebrations on Friday, the Dairy chairman hoisted the national flag on the dairy premises and recalled the services of martyrs, who made their supreme sacrifices for the cause of the formation of separate Telangana state.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rajeshwar Rao said that the Karimnagar dairy progressed on all fronts with the support of the state government. He said that they had come up with the state-of-the-art ultra-modern and fully automated Mega dairy of three lakhs litres capacity in Nallagonda village of Thimmapur mandal. They had also bagged the prestigious National Project for Dairy Development (DPDD) with the financial assistance of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) with an outlay of Rs 90.70 crore.
On the irrigation front, he said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had transformed the state by providing irrigation sources to the upland regions by taking up Kaleshwara lift irrigation project. Stating that the minor irrigation tanks were filled even during this summer season, he said that the execution of the Malkapet reservoir in Konaraopet mandal had transformed the region on the irrigation front.
He said that the completion of irrigation projects had increased the agricultural land costs. He also called upon the employees to rededicate and strive for the development of the Karimnagar dairy. Managing Director P Shankar Reddy, Advisor V Hanumantha Reddy, marketing manager T Rajashekhar Reddy and others were also present.
