Jyestabishekham of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy commenced at Tirumala
TIRUMALA, JUNE 2, 2023: The three-day-long festivities of celestial Jyestabisekam commenced at the Kalyana Mandapam in the Sampangi Prasadam of Srivari temple on Friday.
As part of the fete, Rithviks performed Shanti Homam, Shata Kalash pratista avahana, Nava Kalash pratista avahana, Kankakana pratista at yagashala ahead of kankana dharana.
Thereafter Snapana thirumanjanam was performed for utsava idols of Sri Malayappaswami and his consorts amidst chanting of Stree Sutkam, Purusha sutkam, bhu sutkam, Neela sutkam and Narayan sutkam.
Later in the evening a diamond kavacham is adorned to utsava idols of Swami and Ammavaru and paraded in the Mada streets after Sahasra Deepalankara Seva.
Similarly, the utsava idols will be adorned with pearl kavacham on Saturday and gold kavacham on Sunday and bless the devotees. TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy couple, TTD board member Sri Maruti Prasad and temple Dyeo Sri Loganathan were present.
