KARIMNAGAR: Management of Jyothismathi institute of technology and sciences (JITS) has performed a three-day Maharudra Yagam on the college premises on the outskirts of Karimnagar town from August 17 to 19.
JITS chairman J Sagar Rao and his wife J Vijaya and their family members J Amit Sai and J Sumith Sai and their family members participated in the three-day Yagnam at the specially erected Yagashala under the guidance of eminent purohit Puranam Maheshwara Sharma and about 35 Ritviks initiated the Yagam.
The Yagam was performed according to Vedic rituals for the overall well-being of the people, for the students’ education and their bright future and the reputation of the college and the welfare of the country. The purohits had performed several rituals like Go puja, Guru puja etc.
On the final day on Thursday, the priests have performed Rudra purachchana, Maha rudra yagam and Purnahuthi. The college faculty members and students participated in the prayers and thanked the management for conducting such big yagam on the college premises.
