Jeevan Reddy demands abolition GO 317 as it is detrimental in the interest of employees and teachers

KARIMNAGAR:  Congress MLC T Jeevan Reddy has demanded the state government to abolish the GO number 317 issued for the allotment of employees for local cadres as it was detrimental in the interest of employees and teachers.

Talking to newsmen here on Friday, Mr Jeevan Reddy alleged that the TRS government was diluting the spirit of the formation of a separate Telangana state by causing umpteen woes to the employees and teachers with the issuance of GO number 317 and demanded the government to repeal the GO immediately. He flayed the government for taking up the allotment of employees for cadres based seniority neglecting the local category.

He launched the scathing attack against the government for unscientific transferring of the employees from Jagtial district to Jayashankar-Bhupalapalli and Peddapalli employees to Jagtial and seven districts carved out of the old Karimnagar district. He also alleged that the government should own responsibility for the death of the teacher following his transfer in an unscientific manner.

He ridiculed the state government for not following the spouse category for the employees if their spouses were working as central government employees. There is no humanity in the transfers and caused mental agony to the employees and teachers, he charged. He reminded that the employees and teachers have played a crucial role during the statehood movement braving action against the government.

Stating that the employees and teachers were being subjected to injustice, he demanded the government to repeal the controversial GO immediately. Jagtial DCC president Adluri Laxman Kumar, district Congress leaders Samad Nawab, Md Taj, Gundati Srinivas Reddy, Bobbili Victor, Porandla Ramesh and others were also present.
