Jana Sena to field candidates from 7 to 14 parliament constituencies in Telangana

JAGTIAL: Filmstar and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan made it clear that the party was planning to field its candidates from 7 to 14 Lok Sabha constituencies in the Telangana state. He said that he was aiming to ensure that there were at least 10 Jana Sena MLAs in the Telangana assembly.

Welcoming Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s entry into national politics by forming Bharath Rashtra Samithi, he said that they would look into a possible alliance with any political party if they approach the Jana Sena in the Telangana state.
Mr Kalyan visited the ancient and historic Sri Anjaneya Swamy devasthanam in Kondagattu of Jagtial district on Tuesday (January 24, 2023) to offer prayers to the election campaign vehicle ‘Varahi’. Donning the traditional orange-coloured clothes, he performed special puja to the Varahi vehicle amid chanting of Vedic hymns by the temple priests.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that “Telangana has given him a new lease of life. I should have been born in Telangana state”. Recollecting the fighting spirit of the people of the Telangana region from the armed struggle to the formation of the Telangana state, he said that the people of the region played a crucial role during the statehood movement. He claimed that the Jana Sena party was carved out in the Telangana state and inspired by the fighting spirit of the people.
Launching a scathing attack against YSRCP, he asked why the Andhra Pradesh government had issued GO number 1 when it was confident of winning 175 MLA seats. Reiterating that the Jana Sena was associated with the BJP in Andhra Pradesh state, he said that they would go to elections individually in AP if any political party have alliances with them or not.
Pawan Kalyan fans have arrived in large numbers at the temple shrine and all along the road from Jagtial to Kondattu and Kodimial to the temple shrine. All the roads were packed the posters and banners of Pawan Kalyan. Later, Jana Sena proceeded to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy devasthanam in Dharmapuri temple shrine along the shores of river Godavari.
