Inter first year exams rescheduled due to Huzurabad bypoll

KARIMNAGAR: In the wake of by-elections to the Huzurabad assembly segment on October 30, the Board of Intermediate Education has partially revised the timetable and the examinations for the Intermediate first year would begin as scheduled from October 25 only.

According to an official release here today, the scheduled timetable for the examinations to be held on October 29 and 30 would be held on October 31 (Sunday) and November 1 (Monday) as per the new schedule.

The time-table for the Inter first year examinations is as scheduled; second language paper-I on October 25, English language paper-I on October 26),  Mathematics paper-1A, Botany paper-I, Political Science paper-I on October 27, Mathematics paper-1B, Zoology paper-I and History paper-I on October 28, Physics paper-I and Economics paper-I on October 31, Chemistry paper-I and Commerce paper-I on November 1, Public administration paper-I and Bridge course maths paper-I (for BiPC students) on November 2 and Modern language paper-I and Geography paper-I on November 3.

At a meeting in Adilabad town on Wednesday, Collector Sikta Patnaik reviewed the arrangements for the smooth of Intermediate first year examinations which would be held in 47 centres in the district. A total of 9930 students would appear for the first year exams including 8891 regular students and 1039 vocational students.
