Govt women’s degree college receives ISO 14001:2015 certification

KARIMNAGAR: The Government Women’s degree and PG college in Karimnagar town has achieved the distinction of being the first government degree college in the district to bag the prestigious ISO 14001:2015 certification.
The certificate was given to the college for the environmental management system and efficient use of resources and reduction of waste. Collector RV Karnan visited the college on Tuesday and handed over the certificate to the college principal T Srilakshmi. He also handed over Good health practice certificate to the principal for following the energy audit and proper sanitation.
The Collector had felicitated the principal, ISO certification authorities Chilakapati Shivaiah, Ganta Anitha, faculty members Sampath Kumar Reddy, Chakravarthi, Srinivas, Sridhar Reddy, Sangeetha Vani, Rajani Reddy and others were also present.
