Govt headmaster suspended for falsely claiming R&R package

SIDDIPET: In a bizarre incident, a government school headmaster, who had allegedly claimed Relief and Rehabilitation package amount as project oustee of Mallannasagar project by claiming another person as his son, was suspended after an inquiry by the Siddipet RDO Anantha Reddy on Tuesday.

Official sources said that the headmaster Beldi Srinivas Rao working at ZPHS in Ensanpally village of Siddipet urban mandal had claimed the R&R package amount in the name of his son by showing another person as his son and taking family pictures. It is stated that Srinivas Rao’s son Sai Teja stays in Canada. But the headmaster had stated that Kondari Sai was his son and took photographs. Incidentally, he had also done attestation of the application form also.
It was also found that the headmaster had claimed the R&R package of attaining 18 years of age for his son and daughter. Following the information, the Collector had ordered the RDO to conduct an inquiry and found that Srinivas Rao had cheated the government by falsely claiming the R&R amount. Following the inquiry report, the Collector had ordered the suspension of the Headmaster.
