Appoints Ronald Ross as new secretary to TSWREI

KARIMNAGAR: In a swift reaction, the state government has accepted the resignation of Additional DGP Dr RS Praveen Kumar, who bought reforms in the residential educational institutions, on Tuesday evening and appointed senior IAS officer Ronald Ross as the secretary of the Telangana social welfare residential educational institutions.

As announced earlier, Dr Praveen Kumar has launched his campaign for social justice from the tribal-dominated Adilabad district by visiting the Nagoba temple in Indervelli of Asifabad district on Tuesday. Talking to newsmen, he refuted the claims that he was planning to contest from the Huzurabad assembly segment on behalf of the TRS ticket. He clarified that he would swear in the name of goddess Nagoba that he would not be sold and would not allow anyone to sell away. He reiterated that he would follow the footsteps shown by eminent personalities and would disclose more details in the days to come about his plans.
