Former IPS officer alleges role of KCR’s family in TSPSC question paper leakages
HYDERABAD: Former IPS officer and Bahujan Samaj Party Telangana State President Dr RS Praveen Kumar has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s family members were involved in the TSPSC question paper leakages.
He charged that Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K Taraka Rama Rao, Minister for Finance and Health T Harish Rao and MLC K Kavitha was involved in the TSPSC examinations question paper leakages and added that Kavitha was also involved in the leakage of TSPSC examinations conducted in the year 2016.
Demanding a CBI inquiry into the TSPSC question paper leakages, he stated that there is a threat to the lives of the main accused Praveen and Rajashekhar Reddy. He said that there is every need to protect the accused persons to collect the complete information pertaining to the leakages and the role of the ‘big people’.
Mr Praveen Kumar launched the fast unto death programme at the BSP office in Lakdikapool in Hyderabad on Friday demanding the cancellation of TSPSC Group-I preliminary examinations. The police forces were pressed in large numbers and arrested him by breaking open the doors and shifting him to his house and keeping him under house arrest. However, Mr Praveen Kumar continued his fast programme at his house also.
Demanding TSPSC chairman B Janardhan Reddy to step down from the post following the leakages, he said that he would meet the Telangana state governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and President Draupadi Murmu. Alleging large-scale irregularities, he demanded the government investigate the role of section officer Shankar Lakshmi and the employees working in the confidential room. He demanded the constitution of the new body of TSPSC by scrapping the existing body following the leakages.
With regard to the cancellation of Group-I, AEE and DAO examinations, he said that it was the victory of BSP and the people of Telangana and the student community. The other political parties only played dramas, he said informed the students to be confident and study hard to secure jobs and assured them that the BSP would strive for their welfare.
Stating that MLC Kavitha would be arrested very soon, he flayed the Telangana ministers for neglecting the plight of 30 lakh unemployed youth and rushing to Delhi to protect an accused person. He said that he would take a decision on calling off his fast unto death programme only after talking to the party leaders.
