Former AMC chairman instructs officials to take measures for procurement of maize crop from farmers
KARIMNAGAR, MAY 31, 2023: BRS leader and former Agricultural market committee chairman T Sammi Reddy has instilled confidence among the farmers by visiting the marketyard and instructing the officials to take measures for the procurement of maize crop from the farmers at Jammikunta marketyard.
Mr Sammi Reddy visited the marketyard on Wednesday and interacted with the farmers, who had bought the maize produce for procurement. Stating that the government had allocated Rs 350 crore for the procurement of maize during this season, he informed the farmers not to sell their maize to middlemen and assured them that the government would procure the maize by providing MSP.
He also advised the farmers to protect their maize crop from rains with tarpaulins available in the market. He said that the BRS government was farmer-friendly and would solve all the problems of the farmers.
