Fire services rescue operations drills on LMD reservoir waters

KARIMNAGAR: Additional DCP (admin) G Chandra Mohan on Thursday inspected the exercises and drills of the disaster response and fire services of Karimnagar on the waters of Lower Manair Dam (LMD) reservoir on the outskirts of the town.
On this occasion, he said that the cadets had successfully completed their training under the aegis of the Indian rescue academy, Pune in rescue operations in the inundated and flooded areas owing to the torrential rains. He said that the cadets were fully geared up to take on any challenges during the natural calamities and added that the Karimnagar district was in the safe hands of the fire services department.
DD fire training and academy, Hyderabad Prasanna Kumar, Karimnagar District fire officer Venkanna, ACP Prathap, Lake police outpost SI Venkat Reddy and others also witnessed the feat.
