Etala supporter comes back to TRS-fold

KARIMNAGAR: T Sammi Reddy, former Jammikunta market committee chairman and staunch supporter of former Minister Etala Rajender, has again joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Tuesday.
A former Congress leader joined the TRS in 2018 following the denial of party ticket from the Huzurabad assembly segment in the elections. Later, he became a staunch supporter of Etala Rajender and supported all his activities in the segment. When Mr Rajender resigned to the TRS party legislator post and joined the BJP, Mr Sammi Reddy continued to support Rajender by remaining in his camp.
However, on Tuesday Mr Sammi Reddy announced coming back to the TRS-fold along with his supporters. He addressed a press conference in Jammikunta town along with Jammikunta municipal chairman Rajeshwara Rao, MPP Mamatha, Huzurabad TRS town president Kolipaka Srinivas, Huzurabad former Municipal chairman Vijaya Kumar and others and announced rejoining the TRS camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sammi Reddy alleged that Mr Etala Rajender joined the BJP only for the protection of his illegal properties. Charging that he was opposing the government decisions in spite of being Minister in the Cabinet, he alleged that Mr Rajender planned to topple the government and become the Chief Minister of the state.
He said that Mr Rajender neglected the TRS rank and file and resorted to all cheap quality works in his assembly segment. He also flayed the former Minister for joining the communal BJP in spite of anti-peoples policies in the country.
