Rajender warns Harish Rao to mend his ways
SIDDIPET: Former Minister and BJP MLA-elect from Huzurabad Etala Rajender has warned Minister for Finance T Harish Rao to mend his ways and stop telling unnecessary lies and cheating the people with false promises.
“He (Harish) claims himself to be a trouble-shooter, intelligent, planner and having influence in the society and can do whatever he wants. But, the people of Huzurabad have taught him a good lesson by removing his value for his arrogant attitude”, he pointed out.
Mr Rajender made a brief halt in Siddipet town on his way to Hyderabad on Thursday and paid floral tributes to the Telangana martyrs memorial at Ranghadhampalli crossroads in the town. He was accorded a rousing reception by the party rank and file and the womenfolk offered harathi to Mr Rajender in the Siddipet town, which is the strong-fort of TRS. The party leaders have burst fireworks following the arrival of Mr Rajender in Siddipet town and raising slogans hailing Mr Rajender.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Etala said that the people of the Siddipet assembly segment have elected him for the welfare of all sections of society and the development of the constituency. “But, he (Harish) resorted to unethical and undemocratic acts and visiting other segments as the election incharge and cheating the people with false promises of announcing to adopt the assembly segments and villages and develop them on par with Siddipet, he stated.
He predicted that a day would soon come where the people of Siddipet assembly segment would also teach a fitting lesson to Mr Harish Rao for his adamant attitude and suppressing democracy and peoples’ voice. He reminded Mr Rao that he was not elected to do cheap tricks and politics.
