Etala offers special prayers at Badrachalam temple shrine

KARIMNAGAR: Former Minister and BJP legislator from Huzurabad Etala Rajender visited the historic Sri Ramachandra Swamy devasthanam in Badrachalam and offered special prayers on Monday.
On this occasion, he said that several people have prayed Sri Ramachandra Swamy in Badrachalam for his victory in Huzurabad by-elections and safeguarding of the democracy and teach a fitting reply to the autocratic attitude of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar. Accordingly, as part of thanks giving to the deities, the people were visiting the temple shrine and offering prayers to the presiding deities in Badrachalam, he said and added that they would also offer prayers at Samakka-Sarakka goddesses at Medaram in Mulugu district.
He said that some of the people from Huzurabad assembly segment have taken up padayatra from Illadakunta Sri Ramachandra swamy devsathanam to Tirumala Tirumala Devasthanams traversing 950 kilometers to offer prayers following his victory. He thanked all sections of society for praying for his victory. Former ZP chairperson Tula Uma and others were also present.
On his way to the devasthanam, Mr Rajender extended solidarity to the residents of Telangana colony in Palvancha in Badadri-Kothagudem district who were demanding ‘pattas’ to their lands where they were residing presently. He assured to fight for their rights of providing permanent shelter.
He was accorded a warm welcome all along his route to Badrachalam. He was greeted by the BJP leaders and Mudiraj community leaders hailing his leadership in Manuguru in Badadri district.
