MANCHERIAL: Eminent academician and scholar Dr Sudhati Sana, the correspondent of Abhyasan centre of excellence of Mancherial town, has received the prestigious Vidya Bhushan award-2021 by the Mahatma Gandhi Akash international for her outstanding services in the field of education.
Though the award was announced on October 2 on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi jayanthi celebrations, it was sent to her through a post on Tuesday following the prevailing pandemic virus situation.
A highly qualified Sudhathi had completed one diploma, three-degree courses, two PhDs, two PhD certificate courses and secured five gold medals for her outstanding academics from Osmania, Kakatiya from eminent personalities during her academics.
The only correspondent from the entire north Telangana to get selected for the prestigious award. Ms Sana was one of the 152 eminent persons who were selected for the award. She had earlier bagged the best educator award by Syrafills Media for adopting innovative teaching methods in the year 2019. She received the award and a citation from Latha Rajnikanth, wife of Tamil Superstar and Dada Saheb award winner Rajnikanth, during the fifth edition of the South Indian women achievers awards held in Chennai.
Abhyasa school chairman Venkateshwar Rao, faculty members and parents have appreciated Dr Sana for her distinguished achievement and bringing reputation to the district.
