Devotees donate Rs 8 lakh for Nityaannadhana trust at Vemulawada

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: In a noble gesture, the devotees of Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam in Vemulawada temple town in Rajanna-Sircilla district have donated Rs 8 lakh for the nityaannadhana trust for providing free food for the pilgrims visiting the shrine.

A devotee couple from Warangal Rama Srinivas and Shobha Rani has donated Rs 8 lakhs for the implementation of nityaannadhana programme at the temple shrine in memory of his father Rama Agaiah. Accordingly, the cheque of Rs 8 lakhs was handed over to temple executive officer Krishna Prasad at the temple shrine on Wednesday.
They also petitioned the temple EO to accord permission for the construction of a guest house at Bheemeshwara temple for the benefit of pilgrims visiting the shrine. Protocol officer Sirigiri Sriramulu, PRO Chandrashekhar and others were also present.
