Deepthi mahila samithi organise medical camp for domestic helps

PEDDAPALLI: The Deepthi Mahila Samithi has organized a free consultation and health check-up in association with the Dhanwantari hospital for the benefit of domestic helps on the premises of the Mahila samithi in NTPC Ramagundam township on Monday.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Usha Kumar, President, Deepthi Mahila Samithi in the presence of Mamta Laad, Senior member, Padmasree, Bal Bhavan-Incharge, Sharda Rao, Welfare-Incharge.
Around 41 domestic helps and their family members had availed the medical services in which Blood test, Antibodies test, BP checkup, Glucose check up, ECG with free consultation was given. Free medicines were also provided to some based on the doctors advice during the medical camp.
Mrs Usha Kumar and other dignitaries appreciated the work of domestic helps and asked them to maintain health and hygiene. From Dhanwantari Hospital, Dr E Rama Murthy CMO, Dr. Madhu Singh, Dr Vijaya, and Dr Guhana along with six medical staff were present and coordinated the medical camp.
