CP visits sensitive and problematic polling stations in Karimnagar town
KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 01, 2023: Commissioner of Police Abhishek Mohanty on Wednesday visited some of the sensitive polling stations and vulnerable polling stations in Karimnagar town and reviewed the security arrangements and other facilities as part of the implementation of Model Code of Conduct.
The CP made a surprise inspection of Karimnagar ACP office and Karimnagar Two town police station and inspected the records. He also inquired about the sensitive polling stations and the reviewed security arrangements. He also directed the police officials to keep a close surveillance on the persons including rowdy sheeters, frequent offenders and others to ensure free and fair polls.
Directing the police officials to ensure strict enforcement of model code of conduct, he also interacted with the field staff about the MCC and collected the feedback. He also visited the sensitive polling stations and inspected the security arrangements for the elections. ACP Narender, Inspector Ramchander Rao and others were also present.
