Coromandel scholarships for girl students in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR: The Coromandel Girl Child Education Scheme has handed over scholarships to about 50 girl students, who completed the ninth standard in various Zilla Parishad schools of the bifurcated Karimnagar district, on Monday.
At a programme organised at the Collectorate auditorium, ZP CEP Priyanka Karnan had handed over the scholarships to the selected girl students and provided financial assistance for their higher education. The Coromandel would provide scholarships of Rs 5,000 for the first rank and Rs 3,500 for the second rank holders of the various ZP schools.
On this occasion, the ZP CEO appreciated the Coromandel authorities for distributing scholarships to the girl students for their higher education and informed them to increase the scholarship amount from the next academic year. She informed the girl students to continue their higher education and assured them of all assistance.
District agriculture officer V Sreedhar, Coromandel international zonal manager Sajan Kumar, vice president Bhaskar Reddy, company representatives Srinivas Reddy, KV Srinivas Rao, Ali and others were also present.
