Constitution day observed at University Pharmacy college

KARIMNAGAR:  Several educational institutions have observed the Constitution Day which is also known as National Law Day on Friday.

University college of pharmaceutical sciences of the Satavahana University on the outskirts of Karimnagar town celebrated “Samvidhan diwas’ commemorating the adoption of the Constitution of India on November 26, 1949 which came into force from January 26, 1950.

On this occasion, the students and NSS volunteers took pledge which was administered by NSS programme officer Sunitha. On this occasion, she explained about the importance of this day and paying tributes to first Law Minister Dr BR Ambedkar, who played a pivotal role in drafting the Indian Constitution. Principal Bhagyalaxmi, Assistant Registrar Y Kishore and others were also present.
