Congress leaders plan grand welcome to Manickum Tagore in Karimnagar on Sunday

KARIMNAGAR: The Karimnagar district Congress committee leaders are all set to accord a grand welcome to AICC secretary and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee state affairs incharge Manickum Tagore during his maiden visit to Karimnagar town on Sunday.

Mr Tagore would be visiting the Karimnagar town on Sunday to conduct a meeting with the Congress party leaders of the Karimnagar parliament constituency and discuss strategies for the strengthening of the party for the ensuing elections. All the Karimnagar parliament constituency leaders including DCC presidents and others would attend the meeting at Indira bhavan (Congress party office) in Karimnagar town.
Earlier, the DCC leaders have decided to accord a rousing reception to Mr Tagore from the district borders of integrated Karimnagar district at Shanigaram village in Bejjanki mandal now in Siddipet district. The party leaders have decided to take out a procession in Karimnagar from Alugunur village to the Indira bhavan traversing through Kothirampur, Kaman, Bus stand area, Indira chowk and Mankammathota.
