Collector informs JVV activists to educate rural masses about importance of science

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: Collector Anurag Jayanthi has called upon the Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV) activists to play a pivotal role in educating the rural masses about the importance of science and technology and discouraging them from believing in sorcery and other social evils.
The Collector informed the newly elected JVV office bearers of the Rajanna-Sircilla district, who met him in his chambers on Wednesday. The new JVV activists of the district include president Gurram Anjaneyulu, secretary Sampathi Ramesh and state committee member C Ramaraju.
On this occasion, the Collector instructed the JVV activists to empower the student community towards and science and technology. He said that the JVV office bearers should educate the students about the importance of science in the present day by organising educational programmes in all educational institutions. He also informed them to strive for bringing change in the attitude of rural masses towards science.
