KARIMNAGAR: Collector RV Karnan along with Karimnagar Dairy chairman Ch Rajeshwara Rao on Wednesday (June 15) released a book titled “From Shades of Blue” (a compilation of poems) written by Thanvi Voruganti, the youngest writer of Indian origin in the USA.
The Collector was all praise for Thanvi for publishing her second book. Her earlier publication was in the year 2021 titled “From the Inside, the Inner Soul of a Young Poet”. Twelve-year-old Thanvi, lives in Chandler in Arizona State of USA and granddaughter of Karimnagar Dairy advisor V Hanumantha Reddy, visited Karimnagar town as part of vacation along with her parents.
The Karimnagar Dairy Advisor took initiatives for the release of the book by the Collector and the Dairy chairman. Inspired by the soothing poetry, the Collector had felicitated Thanvi by presenting her with a memento made of silver filigree of Karimnagar and explained about its importance. He also informed the young writer to continue her passion for writing and write more books to inspire several other young budding writers.
Karimnagar Dairy managing director P Shankar Reddy, Advisor V Hanumantha Reddy, marketing manager Rajashekhar Reddy, Thanvi’s parents Mahender Reddy and Deepika and others were also present.
Incidentally, Thanvi developed the passion for writing during the lockdown period to hone her writing skills. Out of boredom, she wrote some verses of soothing poetry. Realising that it was great to relish in, she started admiring poetry and her collection of poems came into a book form. She was the talk of the USA for becoming the youngest writer last year. The same Serapis Bey Publishing, which published her first book last year, had published the second book also.
