Childline organises a signature campaign to educate importance of toll-free 1098 and protection of children

 

KARIMNAGAR: On the occasion of International Missing Children’s day on Wednesday (May 25), the Childline or helpline 1098 had organised a signature campaign to create awareness about the importance of day and protection of missing children at the RTC bus station complex in Karimnagar town.

Karimnagar Traffic inspector Tirumal Goud along with RTC divisional manager Kavitha, Childline district coordinator Avula Sampath Yadav and others have launched the signature campaign. On this occasion, the Traffic Inspector informed the people to call toll-free 1098 number if they notice any child in distress and crisis in any part of the district.

Expressing concern over the missing children, RTC divisional manager Kavitha said the child deserves to be in the safety and security of caring parents. Traffic SIs Issac, Praveen Raju, childline  team Bhumesh, Mamatha, Saikiran, RTC managers, staff and others were also present.
