Celestial bath for Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala shrine

TIRUMALA: The Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam organised Kartika Vana bhojanam on a grand scale at the Parveta mandapam in Tirumala hills on Sunday (November 13, 2022).
On this occasion, Lord Malayappa Swamy and his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken on a Gaja vahanam from Srivari temple to the mandapam where Snapana Thirumanjanam (celestial bath) was performed to the deities amid chanting of Vedic hymns.
Later, the Kartika vana bhojanam was conducted wherein thousands of devotees were served delicious Anna prasadam to the accompaniment of Annamacharya sankeertans from artists of the Annamacharya project and it was followed by harikatha parayanam. On the occasion of Vana bhojanam, the TTD cancelled all Arjita sevas.
