BSNL holds Telecom advisory committee meeting

 

KARIMNAGAR: The Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Karimnagar district has decided to provide a telecom network to eight villages in the interior Mutharam mandal and Palimela of the old Karimnagar district under the Mission 500 programme of the Union government.

Participating at the Telecom Advisory Committee meeting in the BSNL office in Karimnagar town on November 25, 2022, BSNL Warangal general manager and member secretary of TAC N Ramakrishna said that they were taking all measures for upgrading the cell BTS to 4G and identified 37 routes to provide OFC.

Stating that they had tied up with 90 local cable operators as business partners for providing BSNL FTTH connections, he informed any cable operators to approach BSNL to get revenue share by providing FTTH connections in the district. He also said that they were having 12 franchises to sell BSNL SIMs and recharge coupons.

TAC members Katkam Lokesh, Ch Narasimha Raju, Mamidipally Chaitanya, Mada Venkat Reddy and Mohd Sammi Pervez and other BSNL officials were also present.
