BRS MLC loses his cool and abuses a farmer at TS decennial celebrations
KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 3, 2023: BRS MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy has lost his cool and abused a farmer at the Farmers day celebrations organised as part of the Telangana state formation day decennial celebrations in Abadi Jammikunta on Saturday.
During the Farmers day meeting organised at Rythu Vedika in Jammikunta, a farmer Burra Kumar questioned the MLC on the non-payment of compensation to the farmers, who lost their crops following unseasonal rains. Irked over the question, the MLC asked how many acres of land you have?. The farmer replied three acres.
The MLC shot back: “Don’t you have shame. Whether you are not taking Rythu Bandhu and availing 24×7 power supply”. Immediately, the farmer also countered the MLC and in the melee, Mr Kaushik Reddy raised slogan of ‘Jai KCR’ and vanished from the venue abruptly. The farmers have expressed their ire against the MLC for not responding their plight and solving the issue.
