Blood donation camp held at Jagtial

JAGTIAL: On the eve of the World Forest day celebrations, forest officials and the timber and saw mill owners’ association members have donated blood in Jagtial town on Monday.
At a programme organised by the Indian Red Cross Society, a total of 60 personnel belonging to the district forest department and the saw mill owners have donated the blood. Collector G Ravi, additional collector Dr Boga Shravani, RDO Madhuri, DFO Venkateshwar Rao, IRCS district secretary Manchala Krishna and others were also present.
On this occasion, the Collector lauded the services of the forest department and saw mill owners for donating the blood and save lives. He appealed to all sections of society to fulfil their social responsibility by donating blood for the noble cause.
