BJP leaders console bereaved family of Md Shabbir, who committed suicide by jumping before running train in Jammikunta

Demands Rs 25 lakh compensation, govt job and double bedroom house

Blames TRS govt for suicides by unemployed

 

KARIMNAGAR: The BJP Karimnagar district unit has blamed the TRS government for the death of an unemployed youth Mohammad Shabbir (26), who had allegedly committed suicide by jumping before the running train in Jammikunta town on Sunday.

The BJP district unit leaders visited the Sirisedu village in Illandakunta mandal on Monday and consoled the bereaved family members of Shabbi. BJP district president G Krishna Reddy and former legislator Bodige Shobha handed over financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the bereaved family.

On this occasion, they alleged that the state government and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao responsible for the death of unemployed youth as the government had betrayed the youth by not fulfilling the promise of providing employment to each house. They charged that the government had failed to fulfil the promise of providing pension of Rs 3,016 per month to the unemployed youth.

Demanding the government to provide a compensation of Rs 25 lakhs, government employment and double bedroom house to the bereaved family, they expressed concern over the unemployed youth resorting to suicides as the government had failed to fill up vacant posts and solve the unemployment problem.

They alleged that the TRS government was concerned about doing politics and inducting various party leaders into their fold by luring them with various sops. BJP leaders Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, A Sampath Rao, Singireddy Tirupathi Reddy, M Praveen Kumar, Mahipal Yadav and others were also present.
