Bharat Scouts and Guides foundation day celebrated in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR: The Karimnagar District Bharat Scouts and Guides celebrated its foundation and Flag day in Karimnagar town on Saturday by organising various programmes including taking out a bicycle rally.
Over 100 Scouts and Guides and heads of various educational institutions have participated in the programme. Speaking on this occasion, Bharat Scouts and Guides district secretary Kankanala Raji Reddy stressed on the need to make the Karimnagar district unit a role model in the Telangana state. He informed the Scouts and Guides to respect the teachers and parents and stressed the need to launch awareness programmes about the importance of Scouts and Guides in society.
Bharath Scouts and Guides Training commissioner Shareef Ahmed stressed the need to create awareness among the people about the importance of health and education and also to check pollution in the country. He also called upon the people to purchase the stickers specially prepared for the encouragement of Bharat Scouts and Guides. Organising commissioners Sadaiah, Swapna and Mounika, several scouts and guides belonging to various schools and KGBVs have attended the programme.
