KARIMNAGAR:  BJP state president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar has urged Union Minister of State for Railways Danve Raosaheb Dadarao to sanction funds and start the construction of Road overbridge (RoB) at the Theegalaguttapalli near the Karimnagar railway station.

Mr Sanjay met the Union Minister in New Delhi on Friday and submitted a memorandum urging the Railways to take up the construction of RoB at the earliest and ease traffic problem in Karimnagar town. He said that the traffic was stopped for several hours on this road due to a railway level crossing at the Karimnagar Railway station causing serious inconvenience to the road users. Especially the ambulance services coming from other parts of the district and adjoining Jagtial and Mancherial districts were being stranded at the level crossing and causing umpteen woes to the patients visiting hospitals, he stated.

Similarly, he also urged the Minister to take up the Hasanparthi and Karimnagar railway line works at the earliest as it would benefit the people of the district to travel easily to the Warangal and Hyderabad destinations. The completion of the railway line work would also benefit the people of the Nizamabad district also, he stated. The Minister had responded positively and assured to take appropriate measures immediately.
