Bandi Sanjay takes up Bhavani deeksha in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR: BJP Telangana state president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday took the Bhavani deeksha at Sri Mahashakthi temple in Chaitanyapuri in Karimnagar town.
As part of the Navarathri celebrations, Mr Bandi Sanjay was taking up the Bhavani deeksha at the famous Mahashakthi temple which houses the temples of Goddesses Maha Durga, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Saraswathi. The temple priests conferred deeksha by wearing a ‘mala’ on him amid chanting of vedic hymns.
The Karimnagar MP would be camping at the temple shrine all these nine-day of Navarathri celebration. His supporters mostly the youth also took up the Bhavani deeksha at the temple. Several thousands of devotees would throng this temple shrine during the Navarathri festivities where the ‘dandiya’ would be a special attraction.
