Bandi Sanjay Kumar files his nominations from Karimnagar Assembly segment
KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 06, 2023: BJP National General Secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar has filed nomination papers from Karimnagar Assembly segment in Karimnagar town on Monday.
Earlier, he participated in a massive motorcycle and cars rally from NTR statue to the Collectorate with much pomp and gaiety along with Goshamahal legislator Raja Singh and the party rank and file carrying the party flags and saffron colour flags. All along the procession, he was accorded a tumultuous welcome and cheered by the youth. BJP state vice Manohar Reddy, Dharmapuri Assembly segment BJP candidate S Kumar, Chikoti Praveen Kumar and others participated in the rally. It may be recalled that Mr Bandi Sanjay Kumar was contesting from the Karimnagar assembly elections for the third consecutive time. First he contested in 2014 elections and later in 2018 elections and secured second place. He had won from Karimnagar parliament constituency in 2019 elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bandi Sanjay reiterated that he would continue his fight for the protection of the Dharma and called upon the voters of Karimnagar assembly segment to rewrite the history in the constituency. He called upon the people to back the BJP for the protection of Dharma. Launching a scathing attack against Minister for Civil Supplies and sitting legislator Gangula Kamalakar, Mr Sanjay Kumar asked whether the Minister had provided any single new ration card to the people of Telangana state. He charged that the Minister was plagued with corruption charges and swindling Smart City funds in the name of commissions.
He also reminded that the BJP had passed a resolution for the formation of separate Telangana state in Kakinada resolution in the year 1998 when the TRS party was not even born. He said that the Telangana state carved out only because of BJP. He also attacked Minister for IT K Taraka Rama Rao for using abusive language and adamant attitude.
