All set for week-long Chaturveda Havanam at Tirupati
TIRUPATI, JUNE 28, 2023: All arrangements are in place for the week-long Chaturveda Havanam which is organised by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) for the first time in the temple city of Tirupati which commences on Thursday.
Seeking the divine intervention for the well-being of the entire humanity TTD is conducting this unique maiden Homam in its Parade Grounds in Tirupati from June 29 to July 5.
The ritual event will begin with Kalasa Sthapana, Kalasa Avahana at 8am on Thursday. Thirty-two (32) Ritwiks will be reciting Mantras from four Vedas. In the evening devotional cultural programs have been arranged by the faculty and students of SV College of Music and Dance on all these days besides Annamacharya, HDPP and Dasa Sahitya Projects.
Necessary seating arrangements with shades have been made for the devotees to participate in this programme. The entire stage is arranged with colourful flowers and illumination.
